Software Installer & Trainer

Due to the national and international success of our Joinery Management Software (JMS) Joinerysoft Ltd is expanding our customer support team.

 

We are looking for someone to join our customer support team to provide remote and onsite technical support to our customers. The role will include installation, set-up and training for new and existing Joinerysoft customers.

 

The ideal candidate should have/be:

  • Experience within the joinery industry, perhaps as a time served joiner or previous joinery background
  • Computer literate
  • Good communication skills
  • Software experience (not essential)
  • CNC machine experience (not essential)

Experience with software and CNC machines would be useful, but is not essential as full training will be provided.

 

Joinerysoft have two offices located at Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire and Shepton Mallet, Somerset. The job will involve some travel, but the candidate could be based anywhere within one and a half hours of either office. We offer flexible working and a pension scheme. Good salary and benefits will be offered to the successful candidate.

Python/Django/Javascript Web Developer

This is a unique opportunity to join a strong small team of developers in an innovative company providing software for the joinery industry.

 

Joinerysoft Ltd is a dynamic and innovative technology company providing software products and services for the bespoke joinery industry based at our R&D office in Shepton Mallet, Somerset. 

 

Joinerysoft Ltd is a family company, which has been established for 5 years and is enjoying a period of rapid growth. As a result of this growth we are now looking to appoint an enthusiastic Python/Django/Javascript web developer to help develop our new software version.

 

This position is ideally suited to an enthusiastic individual who has strong coding ability with an understanding of how database driven websites work. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their working knowledge of current web technologies, development tools and be capable of working to tight deadlines and at a high standard.

 

The Role:

  • Help develop and maintain our new Joinery Software (which is based on Django)
  • Work closely with colleagues where required
  • Respond in a timely and efficient manner to any issues, which may come to their attention
  • Attend regular team meetings
  • Provide regular feedback on work in progress to the Project Manager

 

Essential Qualities:

  • Experience of  HTML / CSS and an understanding of the principles of web design & HTML.
  • Experience of SQL
  • Good knowledge of Django and Python
  • Analytical approach to problem solving
  • Well organised with good attention to detail.
  • Capable of working under pressure and on own initiative


Desirable Qualities:

  • C++ programming experience
  • Strong knowledge of XML

 

Salary is depending on your experience

Javascript/XML Programmers

This is a unique opportunity for programmers to join a strong small team of programmers in an innovative company providing software for the joinery industry.

The position will be based at our R&D office in Shepton Mallet, Somerset. 

 

Joinerysoft Ltd is a family company, which has been established for more than 5 years and is enjoying a period of rapid growth. As a result of this growth we are now looking to appoint an enthusiastic Javascript/XML programmer to help develop our new joinery programme/language.

 

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who have a good knowledge of Javascript and XML. A good knowledge of Maths in particular Geometry and Trigonometry is required. The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate their working knowledge of programming and be capable of working to tight deadlines and at a high standard.

 

The Role:

  • help create Joinery items using Javascript and XML,

  • work closely with colleagues where required,

  • respond in a timely and efficient manner to any issues which may come to their attention,

  • attend regular team meetings,

  • provide regular feedback on work in progress to their Project Manager.

 

Essential Qualities:

  • experience of Javascript,

  • experience of XML,
  • knowledge of Trigonometry and Geometry,

  • analytical approach to problem solving,

  • well organised with good attention to detail,

  • capable of working under pressure and on own initiative.

Desirable Qualities:

  • knowledge of joinery is not essential but would be useful.

C++/OpenGL Programmer

This is a unique opportunity for C++/OpenGL programmer to join a strong small team of programmers in an innovative company providing software for the joinery industry.

 

The position will be based at our R&D office in Shepton Mallet, Somerset.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a good knowledge of C++ and OpenGL. A good knowledge of Maths in particular Geometry and Trigonometry is required. The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate their working knowledge of programming and be capable of working to tight deadlines and at a high standard.

 

The Role:

  • help maintain our joinery CAD engine written in C++.

  • work closely with colleagues where required,

  • respond in a timely and efficient manner to any issues which may come to their attention,

  • attend regular team meetings,

  • provide regular feedback on work in progress to their Project Manager.

 

Essential Qualities:

  • Excellent knowledge of C++,

  • good knowledge of OpenGL is required,
  • good knowledge and experience of using Trigonometry and Geometry,

  • analytical approach to problem solving,

  • well organised with good attention to detail,

  • capable of working under pressure and on own initiative.

Desirable Qualities:

  • MFC

  • Python
  • Django

  • SQL
