Solid 3D design, component-level costing and links to your CNC machine, for larger joinery workshops and door manufacturers.
A four-light screen in JMS 3D Pro. Scroll to take it apart.
Our own modelling engine, written for joinery. Rotate it, open it, split it apart and show the customer how it works.
Windows
Every sash swings in the model, so you can check the clearance and the ironmongery before the timber is cut.

Windows
Turn any item round. The inside face, the beads, the hinges, all modelled.

Curved work
Curved and shaped work across every module, with the same detail as a straight frame.

Sliding Sash
Pulleys, cords and weights are in the model and on the cutting list.

Screens
Screens with opening lights and doors, modelled as one item and priced as one item.

Setting out
Dimensioned elevations come from the same model, so the drawing and the price never disagree.

Cross sections and cut-outs in real time, right down to the tooling.

Cut-outs
Cut any item open and turn it round. The joints, the rebates, the glazing and the beads are all there, so a detail is checked on screen rather than found on the bench.

Cross sections
JMS 3D Pro follows your tooling, your joints and your way of working, so a section through a mullion, a jamb or a cill shows the timber you'll actually machine, with its dimensions.

Component level
A scroll of the mouse wheel takes the item apart. Look at any component on its own, see the processes and tooling that make it, and know where every minute and every pound in the price comes from.
Design it, quote it, win it, and send it straight to your CNC. No re-drawing and no manual programming.
JMS Pro & Machine Link with James Tanner
“This is a link sending the machining program straight from JS to the CNCs, saving time and de-skilling the process as much as possible.”

Commercial and fire doors
Door sets with vision panels, intumescent seals and ironmongery, specified once and repeated across a whole contract. Quote it, track it through the workshop and deliver it with the paperwork the contractor needs.
Five things you get on top of everything JMS 2D does.
Pro follows your tooling, your joints and your processes, so the price and the time on every item are yours, not an estimate.
Rotate it, open it, cut it and split it into components. Show the customer how it works before it's made.
Machining programs go from JMS to your machining centre, with no re-drawing in between.
Arched heads, curved screens and shaped doors, modelled and priced with the same detail as straight work.
Every Pro user gets a Cloud user free: CRM, scheduling, time tracking and files, on any device.
Both quote, print and run the workshop. Pro adds the 3D, the machine link and the management tools.

Moving up later is straightforward. Your items, costs and customers come across, and we recommend a Pro-specification server from the start if you think you'll upgrade.
Every Pro licence comes with the same number of Cloud users, free. It links to your desktop software and works on any device.
Every contact, conversation and follow-up in one place, on your phone from any site.
Plan jobs on a calendar or Gantt chart from your desktop data, so you know what you can promise.
Start and stop timers and timesheets, so estimates get sharper and work in progress is visible.
Drawings, spec sheets and signed quotes stored against the customer, never lost.
Your website contact form feeds the CRM, so every enquiry is recorded and followed up.
Contacts, jobs and documents shared with Pro. Nothing typed twice.
Pro holds a lot of your workshop's knowledge, so setting it up properly is part of the deal, and keeping it current is a contract we renew together.
Every Pro customer gets a dedicated training manager, a time-served joiner, who sets up your real costs, tooling and timings using your own jobs and runs your team's training.
Budget five to ten days of configuration and training, bought separately, at your premises or at ours in Oxfordshire. Overseas customers get the same hours remotely, in sessions of at least two hours.
Maintenance and support comes with your purchase for a year: every update and fix from around half a million pounds of development a year, phone and remote support in office hours, the customer area, U-value certificates, curved work and machine links. Without a current contract those features stop.
Pro is a network system. Each user's PC connects to a server on the same office network, which we usually supply ready set up.
The server can't be a virtual machine and should run nothing else business-critical. Needs an internet connection of at least 8 Mbps, two spare USB ports on each PC and any A4 printer. Apple Macs work through a Windows virtual machine such as Parallels.
Bring a drawing of something you make. We'll model it in Pro while you watch, and cut it open.
